About Windsor

Windsor’s soul lies on Chapel Street where most of its services and interests are found. Once considered the end of Chapel Street without prospects, it now offers a new and interesting flare to the popular norm. Now home to an eclectic mix of retail outlets, op shops, funky cafes and restaurants, it has become a hip and bohemian place to live.

For many years Windsor was a working class suburb, however with the influx of wealthier residents and more visitors the suburb has gradually gentrified.

The houses that predominately make up Windsor are two-storey Victorian terraces with ample character, charming semi-detached cottages and medium-density apartments.

There is an abundance of public transport for residences, including trams and the historic Windsor station.
